If you are using Windows Xp and some of your user accounts are inactive, you can always hide the inactive accounts from the logon screen. To do this,
1. Click on the “Start” Menu.
2. Open the “Run” Command.(or you can open it by pressing (win+ r) ).
3. Type “regedit” and press “ok” to bring the Registry editor.
4. In the left pane browse to
“HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\
Winlogon\SpecialAccounts\UserList.”
5. Now right click on the right pane and select New > DWORD.
6. Give the exact name of the user to hide .
7. Double click on it and set the value to “0” to hide that account.
Please Note :
1. If you want that particular account to show again the future , then follow again the above steps and change the value of “0” to “1“.
